ART 120- 2D-Design
This is an introductory studio course devoted to the development of the perception of color and its use as a tool for artists and designers. The exercises test the appearance of color relationships in complex structures, dealing with meaning and examining the appropriate use of color in the context of design problems.
VALUE SCALES

This project is an achromatic value scale. The top row is from black to white taken from Color-Aid paper. The bottom row was created by using gouache paint and the purpose of this project was to match the top row as closely as possible.
TRANSPARENT ILLUSION

Using the Color-aid papers, with the template already provided, I created compositions demonstrating the illusion of transparency. The compositions needed to demonstrate the following aspects of color theory which were illusion of transparency, parent-child color mixtures, special effects, and hues and their values.
