GDES321- Typography 2
This course further explores the sequence of type-oriented assignments and projects; students explore a variety of advanced functional and formal typographic issues. Perceptual, emotional and stylistic considerations of typographic usages are also covered.
COLLABORATIVE PROJECT
For this project, I collaborated with a student from the University of Nebraska. We both created a book about what our lives have been like at university. Furthermore, we got to experience collaborating with someone from another country which is a great way to gain experience in communication and team work.
COOKBOOK
For this project, I was asked to create a cookbook showcasing my favorite appetizer, main dish, and dessert. The cookbook is in both English and Arabic. After this project, I learned so much about layout design and how important it is in not only typography but also other design courses.
