COMM230- Principles of Advertising

Provides students with an analysis of commercial advertising from a global perspective with attention to communication theory. Students will examine the structure of advertising messages, how they are adapted to specific audiences, and the social settings in which they occur. Issues of Internet advertising and e-commerce will be explored.

For this exercise, I had to create a still ad for a product. The product I chose to advertise was a makeup beauty blender. When making a still ad, it is important to show the headline, focus center, call to action, and logo.

SUNDAY IVY ADVERTISEMENT

For this project, I was asked to create an advertisement for any product. I decided to go for the same product I chose to do the still ad for, which was the makeup beauty blender by Sunday Ivy. I was expected to apply all my skills and knowledge on advertising to this project.
